Practice Session 151, Monday, January 9, 2017

Despite the fact that Banjo the Dog and I went out this afternoon and did a little work in the ‘rolling banjo practice studio’ (see the previous entry), I did complete a formal practice session indoors during the evening hours.

This session features a lick to learn in Segment A, which I’m calling ‘Lick o’ the Day.’ The lick I chose is Lick 16 from Eddie Collins’ book. I also used today’s Segment C as Day 1 of the 30-Day Challenge (which, for me, is ‘Sailor’s Hornpipe’). I used the drum tracks tonight, as you’ll see below.
